Simone is the creator of a fashion line that melds Afro-Caribbean color with American retro shapes. She wanted catalog images that had vintage character, but didn’t compromise the bold colors. She chose antique furniture from my own house to match the style of her mannequin, and I gave the photos a treatment to match, but resisted grain and color toning for best fabric representation.

During the pandemic, I had limited space and resources to create a series of product shots for Eironworks’ custom boxes. These were taken and edited completely with a mobile device.


Shawn came by with a collection of lamps made from repurposed materials. A dark background with some broad bounce light shows off the texture and character of the fixtures and the glow of the bulbs. It won’t come as any surprise when I say the camera lamp is my favorite.
