KHXW Community Radio

KHXW is a temporary, low-watt, community radio station created to bring music and information to small festival-style gatherings. 

 I acquired the appropriate hardware to make the station function, and programmed a week’s worth of content, both pre-recorded and live. My engineer recorded and edited promos and IDs while we were on site, and we also took on a 12-year-old intern who was eager to learn about radio production.

In addition to musical programming in a variety of genres, we serve as a route for public service and safety announcements, promotional spots for happenings within the events, as well as the usual station IDs and jingles.
